Needling
Microneedling is a set of rows of fine needles device, which are rolled over the skin to create rapidly healing punctures, resulting in a wound-healing response and subsequent collagen and elastin production. This technique is also used to augment PRP/drug delivery through pores created through the skin.
Microneedling therapy carries a decreased risk of many of the cutaneous adverse effects that can occur with other treatment modalities.
Microneedling keeps the outer surface of the skin partially intact, and the retained skin barrier hastens recovery and limits the risks of infection and scarring.
Microneedling is effective in treating the following:

Peels
Chemical peels are used to improve skin texture
Peels (Chemical Peel) FAQ's
What do chemical peels do?
Chemical peeling agents removed the superficial layer of the skin promoting the growth of new healthy skin cells.
What should I expect during treatment?
Procedures may vary dependent on the type of chemical peel chosen. Skin is prepped using a medical degreaser to ensure the treated area is free of any oils left on the skin. The chemical agent is then applied and typically remains on the skin for a few minutes. Most patients feel a mild stinging which is temporary and usually subsides. Some peels are designed to self-neutralize and may remain on your skin for hours.
How long is the recovery after a chemical peel and what type of care is necessary?
We use superficial peels which means minimal downtime. Skin peeling is usually unnoticeable, however some may experience slight peeling. It’s important to follow post treatment instructions, which we will give you after your treatment session.
